On a personal note...
I am a movie buff, I have a fascination for entomology, horror, chick flicks, true crime, coffee and witchy decor! You can see that the moment you walk into my salon.
All my life I wanted to have my own salon. It all started when my mom took me to get my nails done at a little studio inside an office space. I knew the second I walked into that studio that I had to have my own hair studio. She had crazy colored lights everywhere 90's dance music, and all kinds of beverages for her guests. I was inspired immediately. I knew that I could definitely do something like that.
I was never pushed to become what I am today. I was always told that my career choice was just a hobby and not a true career. Boy, were they wrong. Im not going to lie, it was tough starting out as a stylist at 27 years old! But with my hustle and motivation I've surpassed many in my industry, in such a short time. Not because of talent or skill, its because I'm obsessed with what I do.
Obsession is going to beat talent every time.
I have not even been doing hair for 10 years, yet I am a salon suite owner, I have a team of talented girls behind me, I built a clientele in one year because of social media, and I am one of the only Certified Color Correction Specialists in El Paso.
What I do is not work it is art. I am an Artist. I put the same amount of effort into every client that sits in my chair, from a simple hair cut, all the way to a color correction. Every client I see is important, because your hair goal is my passion.
